About the Hankook Winter i*Pike RS2 W429 (Studdable)

Zigzag winter groove Z-shape deep snow grooves on the tread provide maximised grip performance on the deep snow. Wide center block Wide block in the center of the tread provides improved snow and ice traction. 2-in-1 shoulder block Unique shoulder block design ensures better grip during the winter driving. 3D sipe technology Optimised 3D sipe technology ensures better handling performance during winter driving. Optimized stud pin Improve Ice traction by maximizing the number of stud pins. Increased pitch numbers Helps effectively bite into the snow and improves the traction. Increased groove edge length Maximises the effect of the sipe edge. Lateral groove edge length: 14 percent increased Longitudinal groove edge length : 23 percent increased New generation ice-philic technology Better grip on icy and snowy roads Maximising actual contact area by optimised soft compound. Ice slit design technology Innovative ice slit design technology provides excellent ice traction. Claw edge The claw edges on both sides of the tread provide better grip performance on snow. Side edge The step-down design provides better side snow grip by increasing friction surface and edge in deep snow road. UHT (Ultra High Tensile) steel belt The UHT belt technology makes the structure hard, which helps give a better handling and cornering performance at a higher speed. Improved puncture resistance and durability. HF (High FLexible) bead rubber High flexible bead rubber makes the bead more durable and also effectively minizes the vibrations from the tire. Studdable
